Enhance posture and decrease pain with this six-part series guided by Liz Monnier, a certified Bones for Life® instructor and Feldenkrais® practitioner. Through natural, gentle movement, this practice aids in the fight against osteoporosis by improving the overall strength and health of your bones. While effective practice includes standing, walking, sitting and lying on the floor, individual modifications are offered to accommodate any restrictions. Removing shoes is recommended for best results. Please bring your own yoga mat or blanket, a long scarf and small hand towel. T’ai Chi Tuesdays

During this morning series, delve further into the benefits of an ongoing T’ai Chi practice with experienced instructor, Sandy Gebhard. Instruction will focus on advancing the skills of returning students; beginners are welcome with the understanding it will be a faster pace. Succulent Pumpkins

This autumn season, create your own living décor when pairing pumpkins with succulents as part of this popular returning workshop. Arrange individual succulent cuttings on miniature-sized pumpkins, and also learn expert tips on how to maintain and multiply your new plant babies once the season is over.     Just in time for Halloween, round up the kiddos for family-friendly festivities at the Botanical Conservatory! Snap boo-tiful photos when showing off your favorite costume and visiting friendly stops with tricks and treats along the way. Also take in the crisp air and vibrant fall colors as you stroll along this year’s Pumpkin Path Display. Regular admission fees apply. Sponsored by Majic 95.1 and Fox 55 WFFT.

    Come together in this bountiful harvest workshop at the Botanical Conservatory. Register with friends, and with gratitude, assemble an overflowing centerpiece with accomplished floral designer, Dennis Bowman. Both fresh and faux autumn imagery are provided, though you are welcome to incorporate your own festive accents. Admission to the gardens is also included. Ages 15+.     ‘Tis the season for this favorite holiday workshop at the Botanical Conservatory. Using a variety of branch tips, design a fragrant evergreen centerpiece complimented by ribbon, pine cones and a festive feature. If you wish, even add some of you own accents from home. Returning instructor and floral designer Dennis Bowman guides participants through step-by-step assembly including how to tie the perfect bow! Afterward, you are also invited to visit the “Gnome for the Holidays” exhibit. Ages 15+. Registration deadline: December 5. Min. 12.
