**Fort Wayne Golf Association City Tournament point accumulation ends July 6th after Tour Championship.

The schedule this year consists of 8 events played at different Fort Wayne area golf courses. Tournaments will be played throughout the summer. Please note that registration is limited and the more popular events are expected to fill.

Tee Times will be posted on the website no more than 2 days before each event. If you do not have internet access please call 427-6710 for your tee time. Tee times for most events are scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and Noon and grouped by age division. If you need to withdraw from an event call the McMillen Golf Clubhouse at 427-6710 and leave your name, age, the event number, and your phone number. There will be no refund or credit if you withdraw after the entry deadline date. All other refunds are subject to a $5 or 10% processing fee, whichever is greater.

The Grand Prix is a series of eight events for boys and girls. The top three players in the girl’s division and the top five players in the boy’s division who accumulate the most grand prix points will win special awards at the end of the program.

Point System
1st - 20 6th - 10
2nd - 18 7th - 8 *Two day totals determine points on Foster Event.
3rd - 16 8th - 6 *Double points are awarded / Foster Tour Championship.
4th - 14 9th - 4
5th - 12 10th - 2

Event #7- July 2 &3 / Tour Championship at Foster Golf Course: The tour championship event will feature double grand prix points, longest putt, longest drive and closest to the pin contests.

Event #8- July 12th / Shoaff Scramble will be a shotgun start. Players will be assigned to a morning or an afternoon shotgun start. Everyone plays eighteen holes.

Players are encouraged to wear proper golf attire. Golf shirts with collars and slacks or mid-thigh shorts are preferred. Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times. Soft spikes are now required on all courses.

1. Enter each event on the above form on or before the entry deadline for that event. DO NOT ENTER AN EVENT AFTER THE ENTRY DEADLINE. ENTRIES FOR EACH EVENT ARE LIMITED AND FILLED ON A FIRST PAID BASIS. ON-SITE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED WITH $3 LATE FEE ADDED TO ORIGINAL FEE.

To help maintain a reasonable pace of play, maximum score limits may be established for each age division. Players who cannot maintain a reasonable pace of play or exceed maximum score limits will be asked to work on and improve their game before returning to another event. Tentative maximum score limits: 18 holes / boys 16-18 (105); boys 14-15 (112); girls 14-18 (120); 9 holes / boys 12-13 (60); girls 12-13 (65). Medal Play events will have a 10 stroke limit per hole (circle 9. After 10 strokes, pick-up and advance to the next tee.
