As autumn will soon be falling around us, so too will the leaves. Create your own beautiful leaf using string and a board with nails. Instructor Tracy Britt will lead you through the process. You'll choose your own string colors and widths to incorporate into your project. Most nails will already be in your 9" x 10" pre-stained board, however some will be left out so that you can have the whole experience of making your own piece. Registration deadline: September 20. Join Riverfront and TekVenture as we build mini single-chamber bat houses and decorate them for these amazing natural pest managers. The bat box kits are made by local woodworking company, Firefly Goods, from repurposed wood and staff from TekVenture will be on-site to help you assemble your project. You will also get instructions on when, where and how to hang your bat home in the back yard. This is a great class for kids and adults alike. Parental supervision is required for children.
