Senior Yoga - 441200

Research suggests that regular yoga practice can slow down the effects of aging, and in some cases, may help reverse aging by improving health, wellness, strength, flexibility and endurance. Our Senior Yoga program offers an individualized, safe and effective approach to help seniors at any fitness level keep old age at bay, leading to good health habits, feelings of vitality and energy and a renewed zest for life. Ages 50+. Registration deadlines: October 22 and October 24. Min. 8. Max. 45. Note: There will be no class November 26 and 28.

Senior Aqua Fit - 441209

Aqua Fit is total body toning with many fun water resistance tools. Our instructor will guide you through various aerobic movements in the water performed to rhythmic music using various resistance and buoyancy equipment. Benefits of Aqua Fit include:
• Burning more calories per minute than land exercise
• Decreased pain and muscle soreness
• Reduced swelling
• Increased strength and mobility
• Help in regaining range of motion and endurance
• Improved balance

Tap dancing is fun at any age! Whether you've tapped before or just want to try something new, you are invited to join the fun! It is great exercise and a fun way to spend a Thursday afternoon. Curious about Crochet - 441304

One of the greatest things about crochet is that you don't have to invest in fancy, new materials or find room in your house to store a bunch of equipment. With just a simple hook, a skein of yarn, and a comfy place to sit, you can begin enjoying all the benefits this craft provides. In the Beginner Class, we'll get you started with a few basic stitches and show you how to read a pattern. The Intermediate Class is for those who already know how to comfortably create single and double crochet stitches as well as have a basic understanding of reading patterns. For either class, please bring a size 5mm, 5.5mm or 6mm crochet hook and a medium weight (size 4 worsted) yarn of your choice. Ages 50+. Registration deadline: September 13. Min. 4. Max. 5.
