Intro to Beekeeping

Beekeeping is trendy, and everyone knows how important honey bees are so that the planet can keep producing great fruits and vegetables. There is much to learn, however, before you jump in. This introduction will focus on the hobby hive, and is designed for anyone considering starting a hive or in their first year of beekeeping. You learn about
bee biology, hive equipment and basic beekeeping techniques. Ages 13+. Instructor: Glenn Hile. Registration deadline: January 29. Min. 6. Max. 15.
